Eid ul-Adha 2019: Celebrate Bakrid With These Five Delectable Delicacies

Eid-ul-Adha, also known as Bakra Eid or Bakrid, will be held on Monday, 12 August 2019. Celebrated by the muslims all over the world, the ‘festival of sacrifice’ honors the willingness of Ibrahim, the messenger of Islam, to sacrifice his son to obey the command of God. To celebrate the day, Muslims sacrifice a goat as a symbol of Ibrahim’s sacrifice and offer prayers. Eid ul-Adha, one of the largest festivals in Islam, is celebrated on the tenth day of Dhu al-Hijjah, the last month of the lunar year.

If you are also celebrating Eid ul-Adha or Bakra Eid, or visiting a friend at the festival, don’t forget to have these delicious delicacies.
